About Us

Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at LoGMIEER started in the academic year 2020-2021. The department has undergraduate (UG) program with intake capacity of 60 and covers fundamentals of computer science courses along with the required courses relating to AI and ML. The program is approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune. Artificial intelligence & Machine Learning is an associated branch of Computer Science which emphases on technology for generating intelligent machines. AI is a technology which allows a machine to simulate human behaviour. ML is a subset of AI which allows a machine to automatically learn from past data without programming explicitly. The goal of AI is to make a smart computer system like humans to solve complex problems. Machine learning focuses on the development of computer programs. Abundant career opportunities of AI & ML are present in different fields. The jobs in AI & ML include Big Data Engineer, Business Intelligence Developer, Data Scientist, Software analysts and developers, Computer scientists and computer engineers, AI Algorithm specialists, Research scientists, AI &ML Engineer, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Scientist, AI Software Engineer and many more.
